introduction

In the latter part of my third semester, I interned with Amirkhan Pathan Studio in Pune. During this internship, I was given the task to design the logo for Thrust Cranes, an EOT cranes manufacturer from Nashik. This was the first-ever commercial logo design I ever made.

the brief:

The brief specified that the client needed a typographic logo-mark. Although cranes are mechanical instruments, the client was interested in bringing forth a certain “human-ness” to their logo with respect to the philosophy of the company. The mark had to be distinguishable and easily readable from a distance as it would be majorly used on the cranes.
